Knee replacement surgeries can be avoided with Manual Therapy

NAVEEN INSTITUTE OF MANUAL THERAPY:

nimt@physio4kneenpain.com

"This Physiotherapy clinic specialises in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (which also includes chiropractic manipulations); we deal with all cases of musculoskeletal pain. We specialise in treating knee arthritis, and evidence is also provided with pre and post-treatment x-ray comparisons where joint space and alignment will be restored. Evidence of reversing some of the knee arthritis cases we treated with Manual Therapy has been posted on the website. Apart from treating usual orthopaedic joint pain and stiffness, we also deal with migraine headaches (in the form of upper cervical dysfunctions, myogenic-occipital frontalis dysfunction, temporomandibular joint dysfunctions) and asthma (rib cage dysfunction)."

Key Features:

  1. Pathomechanics of Knee Arthritis: Dr. Naveen introduces a revolutionary understanding of the pathomechanics underlying varus and valgus knee arthritis. Supported by clinical evidence and validated on thousands of patients, this knowledge transforms our comprehension of knee arthritis causes.

  2. Manual Therapy Interventions: The book delves into manual therapy interventions based on the identified pathomechanics, providing a practical guide for accurate diagnosis and treatment of knee dysfunctions. A detailed case study on "Knee Dysfunction Leading to Medial/Varus Knee Arthritis" adds a valuable research perspective.

  3. Innovative Diagnostic Tool: Dr. Naveen applies the Hesch method of the spring test to knee, hip, and foot dysfunctions, enhancing the diagnostic accuracy and precision of treatment for a range of lower limb issues.

  4. Synovial Fluid Dynamics: Recent research findings elucidate the mechanics of synovial fluid influx and outflux, condylar cartilage nutrition, joint stability, and vascular flow in relation to joint movement. These insights offer a deeper understanding of joint health restoration.

  5. Prevention and Recurrence: The author goes beyond treatment, emphasising the analysis of physical stress on tissues in an individual's lifestyle. The book advises graded strengthening in proportion to physical stress, promoting injury prevention and minimising recurrence.

  6. Holistic Approach: Dr Naveen's innovative lower limb pathomechanics extend to the interconnectedness of varus and valgus knees with hip and foot mechanics. This holistic perspective empowers physiotherapists to approach lower limb dysfunctions with enhanced accuracy.

Research Validation:

The inclusion of a research article as a case study, approved by the ethics committee, reinforces the credibility of Dr. Naveen's approach. The study presents evidence supporting the potential for Orthopaedic Manual Therapy to transform knee arthritis outcomes when diagnosed and treated early.

novel research on How to DIAGNOSE KNEE DYSFUNCTION early and fix IT WITH MANUAL THERAPY AND PREVENTION STRENGTHENING has been published in an international peer-reviewed journal.

Research Summary: Advancing Knee Arthritis Diagnosis and Treatment

My research focuses on the early diagnosis with three planar spring test and treatment of knee arthritisnwith manual therapy ( three planar mobilisaton and manipulation, tapping , sustained glide, oethosis), emphasizing the role of one-directional, three-planar stiffness in knee dysfunction. Traditional imaging like X-rays often fails to detect initial-stage dysfunctions as it is static and single plane information, highlighting the need for innovative diagnostic tools.

I developed the three-planar spring test, a novel method that evaluates knee dysfunction involving multiple planes of movement loss, which are subtle dysfunctions contributing to arthritis progression. This test offers a precise, noninvasive approach to identifying movement restrictions across all planes.

Conservative treatments based on these findings target joint stiffness, restore range of motion, and prevent further degeneration. This approach promotes joint health, mitigates pain, and enhances mobility by addressing dysfunction at an early stage.

My work aims to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and patient care, offering groundbreaking solutions for effectively managing knee arthritis.

Product 1: Ergonomic cervical pillow with dual height for sleeping straight and sides

our patented products

About this item:

  • amazon link: https://www.amazon.in/Ergonomic-cervical-sleeping-straight-options/dp/B0BJ678WTG

  • CAN BE USED IN SUPINE AND SIDE-LYING: This cervical pillow can be used in a supine and side-lying position upon the horizontal surface comprising of A concave surface at the centre to receive the convex occipital surface of the head while lying supine. Two elevated parts from either side of the centre fill the gap between the head and the ground while sleeping on side-lying.

  • SUITABLE DENSITY: Density has been researched and included to maintain the ergonomics of sleeping supine and side-lying without compromising comfort.

  • TWO SIZE OPTIONS IN ONE PILLOW: The pillow has two size options, one on the front side and another on the backside.

  • ONE CAN SLEEP STRAIGHT AND SIDES WITH COMFORT: At the centre of the pillow, a concave surface is made to receive the convex surface of the head to sleep supine/straight, and either side from the centre of the pillow, both sides are elevated to fill the gap between head and the floor while sleeping sides.

  • SUITS FOR ALL: This pillow is designed to suit all body types and ages.

Product 2: Stand roller for deep release better option than foam roller

Stand roller: About this item

  • HELPS TO BREAK ADHESIONS AND INCREASES CIRCULATION: The stand-roller helps to break the soft tissue adhesions, increase circulation, and release stress in the fascia. It is excellent for deep tissues, including trigger points, myofascial pain, and spasms.

  • ASSIST IN STRETCHING, FLEXIBILITY, & DECREASES PAIN: One who feels pain/or discomfort in the calf while sleeping/resting can be relieved by releasing with the stand-roller. In the process of breaking the adhesions, soft tissue is stretched, therefore increasing flexibility.

  • FOR EVERYONE: Loved by runners, cross-fit athletes, yoga and Pilates, swimmers, physical or sports therapy patients, and those just doing a regular fitness workout. Great for the lower limb muscle and plantar fascia of the foot or any body part.

  • DURABLE: This Stand-roller is for deep transverse release of soft tissue. It is made of high-density fiber and resists bending or breaking under tension or weight, providing a firm, deep-tissue massage that can be utilized for long-term therapy.
